Interleague play: For or against?

Do you love interleague play?

Does it rev your engine? Spike your interest? Feed your baseball soul?

This weekend is the second round of interleague series, followed by several weeks so if you love it, you'll be in heaven, but if the idea of Arizona at Kansas City and Pittsburgh at Baltimore doesn't do it for you, buckle up.

Rivalry-speaking, there is a handful of good ones: The Subway Series; Dodgers vs. Angels; Cubs vs. White Sox

These tend to have more drama and more meaning attached (and maybe a few friendly side bets with a buddy).

I personally still like interleague, but the luster has worn off a bit.

What's your take?

Fantasy spin: The designated hitter is the biggest fantasy factor with interleague games. Games with American League hosts keep the DH, but no DH with the National League hosts. Jim Thome, Jason Giambi and other DH owners in daily leagues with a bench should take notice and move accordingly. In skimpy NL-only leagues, certain reserves will get extra at-bats.
